Atlanta’s National Center for Civil & Human Rights

Feb 21, 2025 | Painted Posts

So happy we have the National Center for Civil and Human Rights (NCCHR) in Atlanta, Ga.!  A great place to hear great speakers, do a walk through the history of the civil rights movement, and learn what you can do about your own civil and human rights.

The Posts for Peace and Justice are community-made art and have had the honor of “standing tall” at several of NCCR’s great presentations. The silks on the wall were made in California immigrant communities by PPJP partner Compassionate Arts, with Kira Corser as lead artist.— Lisa Parsons
